Hi, I’m Sarah.
I’m an investor, operator and entrepreneur.
I’m the founder of Elsa Capital, an AI-focused thesis-driven venture capital firm. Before that, I was a product and business leader at Stripe, helping it scale from $5B to $100B. I helped build Stripe Connect (Stripe’s flagship product), and advised founders and the senior executives on strategy and finance. Before moving into tech, I was an investor at Fidelity, and was among the youngest to be promoted to portfolio manager. I developed my love for technology at Morgan Stanley, and helped take Alibaba public in the largest U.S. IPO at the time.
I grew up in Beijing, China and now live in San Francisco with my husband and our two young daughters, who are my inspiration.
Beyond investing, I enjoy reading, writing and photography, and experimenting with things that take me outside my usual world—most recently drawing and gardening.
